This heritage has given Novo Nordisk the experience and capabilities that also enables them to help people defeat other serious chronic diseases such as haemophilia, growth disorders and obesity.

Challenges

Short stature in children due to health issues such as Growth Disorders have been a subject that is commonly overlooked, with most linking it to late growth spurt, hereditary or genetics

Pat-Lin Communications was then tasked to raise awareness on this issue in conjunction with International Children’s Growth Awareness Day which falls each year on 20 September.

Initiatives

PLC assisted to organise a media tutorial session, inviting two professionals, a Consultant Paediatrician & Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist and Consultant Clinical Psychologist along with two mothers to share on the subject at hand.

We took a step further in the media collaterals by crafting the press release into a newsletter format, merging the factual and emotive elements under a single collateral. As the topic is rarely discussed among the public, the subject drew many interests from the media which saw a total of 33 articles published, amounting to a PR value of RM 1,537,751.20.
